My art reflects my love of nature. It is rendered in acrylic on canvas,
with highly textured abstract images reflecting Mother Nature as expansive, colorful, and mysterious.
I strive to create bold symbolism which is powerful, yet accessible to all of us.
I often paint with red iron oxide, which comes straight from the earth.
My use of this color symbolizes the union of art and nature --- a melding of natural forces with human endeavor.
My home and studio are in Santa Monica Canyon. My paintings are in more than 50 private and public collections worldwide.
I have studied at the Brentwood Art Center and UCLA Extension.
I am affiliated with the Pacific Palisades Art Association
and the James Gray Gallery in Bergamot Station.
